Maybe your not understanding me, but do you not see how a lawyer could with those detail plus the fact the KID is 16 yrs old and was shot in the BACK would be able to argue his case.

i am not arguing that the kid didnt deserve whats coming, i am just making the point that you shouldnt NORMALLY be concerned about killing someone in self-defense unless there are extraneous circumstances like in this case, which a lawyer could use to spin the story.

You are all crazy for thinking that pulling out a gun will be safer for you than handing over your money. Sure he will kill you some very low % of the time even if you cooperate, but it's nothing compared to the danger you put yourself in when you pull out a god damned gun right in front of him.

Also, killing people is not cool and I would rather be robbed of a huge amount than kill someone. If I somehow thought it was very likely that I would be killed even if I cooperated and I thought it was significantly less likely I would be killed if I pulled out a gun and shot the guy, I would pull out a gun and shoot the guy. But that is an extremely unlikely scenario.

I don't really understand this sentiment. I would rather kill some worthless street mugger than lose a penny any day, and I promise you I wouldn't lose sleep over it either. This is not killing a random person or an innocent person, this is someone who is a parasite, living at the expense and danger of other people. The world would be much better off if these guys dropped dead, and I would be very proud to kill one personally.

I think the risk that there are legal implications from the kill is worth $100. This is assuming there is 0% chance of getting killed if you pay the $100.
