Why do you always have to be so logical?

She's banging another guy. What kind of chick freaks out about trust issues because you stacked the deck? The cheating ho-bag kind. [/ QUOTE ] Flawless logic, I love it! |

Letting someone win is such an easy thing to do, especially at cards and pool - but you gotta go for the slow skim, miss a few balls here, fold a few pairs there.
Making a game a drawn out challenge is often fun for both - certainly more so than a straight up one sided slaughter of the other. But you never, ever, EVER tell someone you let them keep up or win. ESPECIALLY if its a girl your dating or trying to hook up with. Seriously. WTF were you thinking dude? Are you so petty that you had to prove your dominance and rub it in her face? Why the hell would she find it funny. ID be insulted if someone was doing it to me and told me - perception is reality! |

Moral of the story- don't open your mouth and prove you're an idiot. [/ QUOTE ] Some people are lucky and don't HAVE to let their girl win. |

she is doing this because she isnt that into you. if she really liked you, she might think it was cute, or shed be playfully indignant. but shes blowing it way out of proportion and not calling you back because she is looking for any excuse to not be with you.
its over. get a new gf. |

She feels betrayed, obviously. What she needs right now is a big warm huggle.

Stacking the deck in her favor and then telling her that you let her win is really condescending. That being said, she is overreacting. [/ QUOTE ] On the other hand, your inability to grasp this concept is a problem. I mean, you don't have to REJECT her layup attempt if you're playing basketball, but many girls want to be treated as equals in competitive settings. |

Any layup attempt by a girl or small child must be rejected as hard as possible. |

I've done this to my gf, who's actually a pretty good player, a couple of times but it's usually her getting trip aces while I'm making quads with something like 62. Or the other way around with her winning. I think the big mistake you made was not telling her right away and letting her know you were just joking around.

Was this girl visiting you "from the Niagra Falls area"?
Seriously, this girl is trying to break up with you. It's not about what she says it's about. Have the decency to let this happen w/o degrading yourself into a sniveling freak by apologizing repetitively (which only makes you even less desireable in her eyes and minimizes your own sense of self worth). If this girl was totally into you do you think she's pull this and risk losing you over a something so trivial? Find a new girl. |
