Why you would buy those guys after LAST night is kind of strange...however if one of them makes a big rebound this week you will look smart for getting them on the downswing. I would dump AJ, though.

Have you seen the DialIdol results?

First off, Sundance has been heralded the VFTW this season, which shot him up votes-wise on DialIdol. As long as he's still VFTW, he should be safe until Top 12. Looked what happened to Chicken Little, Kellie Pickler, and Taylor Hicks when they were given the VFTW title last year.

Sanjaya, despite his poor performance last night, has a big following.

AJ is also up there on the DialIdol results, and comes at good value.

Those 3 should be safe after the results show this Thursday. I expect some pop in their prices. I don't look to hold them long-term.

also, iirc, the earlier in the season it is, the less value the dialidol results are. there are not enough members yet to get good numbers.

OK, as far as sundance's performance. i have to say it was my favorite song of the night. it is my old age that made me appreciate the song, and the straight forward delivery. as far as voice, as i said, blake sounded the cleanest and best. as far as BIGGEST let down, i thought sanjay was absolutely awful.

i have added blake to my portfolio, but thanks to these dial-idol numbers, i have removed nobody... YET.

Granny good idea and analysis as usual. I think Head can stick around as well, he is just going to need a really "wow" type of performance in the next few weeks.

SanJay ... not good, I am not sure if he has a powerful enough voice to win this.

I really like Stacey ... I think he has dark horse potential here to make top 5. He seems mature and really grounded .. hard worker type.

I just want to respond to this again. I was reading the FAQs on DialIdol, and it seems as though DialIdol first became available for the last 6 votes of Season 4. Season 5 was the first time DialIdol was used for an entire season. As the season went along, and as more fans started to use DialIdol, the predictions became more accurate.

So with that in mind, I would think that these same DialIdol users (possibly more new users as well) would continue to use it this season, and these results should be more accurate than they were in the early parts of season 5.

Just my theory. We'll only know by Thursday night of course.
