Juliette could've easily kept Sawyer and Kate there after Kate had told the story. Jack would've thought they were safe.

I was thinking that, but there was obviously incentive in her letting them go. Danny said that Ben would die before letting them go, so we know Ben thinks they're really important. However, I think they were merely bait to get Jack to stay. In the ER, Ben obviously believes that he no longer needs Kate and Sawyer to accomplish this.

juliette is the hardest person on the show to read so far...though they definately cleared her up a lot this episode...overall i thought it was a good start back into the season though not the greatest episode

somehow i'm not as pumped as i feel i should be. i like when they drop some serious [censored] on you at the end of the ep and have you anticipating next week's big time. i didn't get that this week i guess, but no complaints.

I was pretty 'meh' on the whole episode. I think it's because I am getting tired of only seeing a handful of characters. I hope it gets better once they start focusing on the characters on the beach.

I thought it was interesting that Jack told Kate not to come back for him. Does he assume that he won't be set free? Is he considering becoming one of the others?

I liked the episode... I think the third season is getting back on track.
