Be careful what you wish for. If the mods eliminated everything you make snarky replies to, I think we'd hear from you about once I week.

Thats fairly minimal compared to the worst runs most of us who have played a lot have had. My worst is ~ 35 or 40 buyins at lower stakes.

I think most of the high volume high buyin guys have had 50 buyin downswings. Someone please correct me if Im wrong.

I've never experienced a single day/short run this bad, and I'm wondering if it's really an extreme outlier or "relatively common you never-run-bad whiny punk."

70 $114s: 4/9/4/53, -$2783; ~24 buyins.

From #11-#47: 0/2/0/35.

Relatively uncommon, but not extreme, and can happen at any time. I had five separate streaks similar to this in a single month, shortly before quitting STTs forever.

i think you're right but i think 24 buyins in 70 games is pretty brutal

FYP. I had 56 one day (200~ games) at the 12's a week or two ago, I was obviously playing pretty bad though but it still happened. 24 is pretty standard especially playing $114s and possibly playing with leaks, 24 is probably standard push-folding perfectly.

I have a question about the turbo SNG's. Are they harder to beat than the regular (slower paced) tournies? It seems with the faster rising blinds there may be more players still at the table by the time the blinds get higher.

I noticed on Doyle's room they have a few structures to choose from. One minute, 5 minute, 8 and the extended with 12 minute blinds. Seems the longer ones would be less of a crap shoot than the quicker paced ones.

Thanks for any info.

theoretically you would have more time and more hands to play in the regular/slower sngs but you can get the most in playing turbos and generally generate the highest hourly as a result. this is my understanding in a broad sense at least, i havent played regulars since the stars 5.50s.
