I had a swab in the mouth test when I had it and I was buzzed from drinking an hour before work... (it was a random test only one I have gotten in like 6 years of working there)
Still have my job..

Im sure the weed won't be a problem.. just remember You can't peek at the guy next to you.

wtf is up with these drug tests anyway?
i mean, i could sort of understand it if the job was a cop or an airline pilot or something, but taking drug tests for some random job? do you also get a full body cavity search every time you enter the building?

Any company that does any kind of contract work for the US government is forced to drug test all employees.

Just one more step towards the erosion of all civil liberties!

if you are thin and not a heavy smoker 2 weeks is usually enough time to be totally clean. 3 weeks should be fine. drinking lots of water for weeks doesn't do anything and drinking water the day of dilutes the urine. if it is too diluted they make you submit another sample the next day.

Do some acid just before the test to neutralize the THC in your system.

It does taste like a 90 yr old anus.. but it does work like a charm.. for safe measure go to your local pharmacy and buy a home drug test to make sure your all good.. i think they are like 30-40 bucks but, the job is worth it no?

What's the ultimate point of drug tests if everybody knows that every pothead can pass it by drinking juice/piss funny? Kinda like being asked if you have a bomb at the airport...

That's not precisely true. Govt. contractors aren't forced to "test", they are only forced to have a "stated drug policy". This came out of the Reagan administration.

Of course, Reagan was a neocon puppet. The laws that allowed such invasive drug testing ultimately allow for companies to downsize by "firing for cause" for simply failing a drug test. This saves a company hugely, as opposed to a layoff where that company is forced to pay unemployment taxes for a layoff.

When an employee if fired for cause (and failing a drug test is such a cause) they don't have to pay unemployment taxes for that firing (and the employee is not eligible for unemployment).
