Is gobbomom going to fly down under for the televised final table? If not, don't worry mom. He is surrounded by friends and I am pretty sure that this will not be his last final table. Your kid's got moxie! edited to add GLGLGLGLGOGLGLGLGLGLGOBBO! [/ QUOTE ] not flying down this time. His sister almost went, and he'll be taking her around Europe for the next year or so. I'll be along on some. We're getting shirts made: Gobbomom and Gobbosister, so you'll know who we are. Steve: I don't know how much he ended up selling of himself, he was going for 5 people I think ?? with him the sixth. Crazy thing is, he won a seat as soon as he got there & had to sell it, lol. |

(pm me if he doesn't want it public) edit: when does this start again in normal time? Steve [/ QUOTE ] I was actually going to ask this but wasn't sure how ethical it was to do so since I have never been in that situation before so I didn't. But hey, you have enough respect around here for that and of course, have done it before, so glad someone did I was going to ask you when I railed you the other day Steve.... Any reason why you didn't head down there? Was it just a money thing or just didn't feel like going? Or maybe school got in the way and you didn't want to miss more of it. |

[ QUOTE ]
After a rollercoaster first level (he went from $800K all the way down to $300K), Jimmy “Gobboboy” Fricke experienced a run of luck that saw him eliminate three players on dramatic hands. First, Fricke rivered an inside straight to send Ville Laukken home in 20th ($60,000), then he called an all in bet by Shane “Shaniac” Schleger on a Q 9 2 board and became a serious underdog when Schleger turned over the Q J to his Q 10. But a runner-runner straight (the K turn and J river) gave Fricke the winning hand, and he eliminated Schleger in 19th place ($60,000). On his third consecutive bust out, Fricke, holding pocket tens, called Nathan Bobik’s all in move with pocket kings. Fricke flopped a set, and made Bobik the tournament’s 18th place finisher ($90,000). [/ QUOTE ] Apparently he managed to get his Luckbox past customs. Take it down! |
