Ok, let's say that you are going to get called down to the river on EVERY hand you play, how is it possible to bluff? What happens if you don't get the cards or don't hit the flop and you have to wait for HOURS? What kind of strategy would you employ??

Game theoretically you should play the hand unpredictably if it's the last hand of your life as well. The reasoning has nothing to do with future hands.

It is correct. There is a difference between mixing up your play to optimize the value of that particular hand and mixing up your play to maximize the value of all your hands.

Can you give an example simpler than poker where the game theoretic correct strategy is different for the last game you play than any game previous?

Anyway, you intentionally bring attention to yourself by trying to goad David into responding to your attacks. You also do the same to others.

A few posters told you that you were wrong on various points. I agreed with one of them and cited a ridiculous statement you made (Which you later tried to back-peddle from.).

If it bothers you so much that others point out the flaws in your statements, then either be more careful of what you post or stop posting altogether. Crying about it isn't going to do you any good.

Speaking for myself, and I think for many others, I spend time on this forum because David’s questions and responses force me to think more deeply about things than I probably would otherwise. I also learn things from the other bright bulbs that frequent here. While the occasional intelligent jab might lighten things up from time to time, I think that most of us have better things to do with our time than to wade through knee-deep manure to get the gems (and yes, sometimes those gems come from you--that was hard to admit).

And, for what it's worth, I took your earlier remarks lightly and my "Don't haunt me" comment was half in jest. Your subsequent PM was kind of weird, so I'm not sure exactly what I'm dealing with here. Although it's not unusual for people who make negative comments about others to have thin skins. I've seen that many times over the years.

Just because David said he wouldn't ban you doesn't necessarily mean all of your comments are welcome. How about using a little restraint? You're obviously not an idiot, so what's the problem?

And, if you have a problem with what I just said, then here's a tissue.

Hold'em is zero-sum if you're willing to ignore the rake and the toke. The size of the blinds is not relevant.

So I back peddled, so I make ridiculous staments. So What! You asked me on the open forum "Don't Haunt Me". When someone makes unpleasant remarks about me I try to settle it privately. I had the same problem with a dopey Moderator on this forum. I pm'd him after he posted lies about me. He persisted so I called him a name on the open forum for lying about me. I was then banned from posting on 2 + 2 forever. I don't feel that there should be a discussion on the open forum about personal problems two individuals might have so I pm people like you. When I pm'd you I took your silence (no reply) as agreement that we had nothing of interest to say to each other or a desire to read something the other wrote. I ignored you until you made a disparaging remark about me as you acknowledge above. I do not think it is fair that you would do such a thing. But you probably were never taught fairness. So why am I not surprised!

Nothing bothers me except from people that have indicated to me that they want nothing to do with me and then make disparaging remarks about me. And I won't "either be more careful or stop posting" You are not the moderator of this forum. You can, if you like, complain to management about me. Just PM Matt Sklansky or Mason Malmuth about me. Better yet tell Dids or Dynasty I post here and see if Sklansky can keep from banning me. I really don't care and you seem the type that would get a kick out of doing that.

You are so full of crap. That is why you smell manure it's on your breath. I ignored every post that you made here except this one you posted concerning me. I have no problem ignoring any post by a poster I do not want to have anything to do with. You must love my manure if you feel you have to read it to get on to something else.
