I do not know whether or not he was cheating in that manner. Based on what people have told me about him, it wouldn't surprise me one bit, but nobody I know has accused him of that. The only direct interaction I had with Giga was when he offered to bet me a large amount on a prop bet regarding how much money he could make over a certain time period. I accepted the bet and offered a few different options for where we could put the money (I gave him a name of a bank where we could set up an escrow or suggested some people like sheets that I would be happy to have hold the money), but he said that his bankroll was tied up in investments and it would take him some time to get that liquid and he wouldn't want to lock up the money, so he wanted to do this bet for a very large amount without putting in the money up front. For obvious reasons, I was unwilling to do that.

That I should inform myself of something in order to be a conduit to NVG? I know a thing or two about gigabet (probably more than the people you are suggesting I learn from, if that's what you were suggesting), and I don't really care about the rest. I think most of the info you have given in this thread is a least a little innacurate or misleading, but I'm sure some of it is true. I like Darrell and don't feel like particpating in impugning his character at all, so leave me out of it. I also think Bluffthis has probably never been laid.

I respect much of your posting, although you sometimes can't distinguish between "right" and "righteous". or someone would grow the balls to post the story, its the internet for christ sakes the mans integrity has already been tarnished by numerous threads airing all the [censored] can only help unvillify him or crucify him justily, so just come out and post a whole story already

Here's the key point: your argument hinges on someone actually writing some groundbreaking poker theory. But regarding Giga, apparently lots of tourney posters think his writings are hogwash. And the only reasons others think they contain some deep theoretical insights not appreciated by others, is because of his myth. Shaniac: that was really cruel. I'm cut to the quick.
