Aki,

I dont think you have depression, however, you are on the downward spiral towards it. I think it is great that you are going to see someone. I think Blarg gave you some of the best advice.

You do not have depression right now, just a sudden sense of loss and change. You had too many things happen to you way too fast. Its good that you recognize it now and not months from now when it really is depression.

I am the king of depression. I've spent my entire life learning of its intricacies. It's good for some self-introspection, but after a point, you have to start exploring viable corrective measures... I think ur just in a small rut though, due to some bad timing... start doing those small things that make you happy.. try and stay positive.. in a few weeks, with any luck, you'll find yourself more or less back to normal and wondering how/why you were in such a negative mindset to begin with

you're joking, right? that is one of the WORST things you can say to a depressed person. as the king of depression, you should really know better.
