The chance of my playing either of the Monday night games is remote so I decided to post a weekly wrapup tonight:

If you have not wagered on large underdogs in the past, this is the sort of result you'll get once in a while. Remember, a spread loss of 25 has the same effect as a spread loss of 1 -- the only difference is the embarassment of talking about the former at work on Monday (or just avoid that conversation altogether). Then again, another perceived dreg of the league, the Bears, covered their line by a TD more than the Eagles did theirs. The NFL is strange like that. Made a revision in my calculations. +820 is the lowest number to play for a 2 unit bet on this game (ie $12.20 to win $100.00). +570 is the lowest number to play for a 1 unit bet. By default, I will stick with my previously placed bet.
