Diablo - this is a great thread idea. OOT Chef was awesome but intimidating. I'm comfortable around a kitchen but some of those dishes were absurdly well conceived and executed. I will serve up some Korean foodz hopefully this weekend.

Food Network's Tyler Florence (that guy who did the lousy signature dishes for Applebees) actually had a show and did potatoes with the bacon bits and grease as a basis for the flavor. Not saying it was right, but clearly some believe in it.

Evan - the ideas and combos are there. However I'd like to see the potatoes cut smaller and presentation could use some work.

El D - Never tried the Brunswick stew. First time i ever went, i ordered a side of the potato salad. The order was to go and when I got home they had left out the potato salad. Fortunately the ribs were so good and filling that i did not require the side. I usually like to eat something of a cold side with hot ribs, but I will give the stew a shot next time which I believe is next Sunday if AEK is still up for it.
