Homemade Pizza Making... (Trip Report w/ pics)

Cheese is my favorite part of a pizza. Which cheeses did you use, just mozzarella?

OK I will clear up the crust part. We had a crust left over in the fridge from early last week (wrapped in saran (sp) wrap). The part that was missing from the circle had gotten hard (stale?). 2 ppl have asked why I cut the crust that way and I just said something stupid to avoid telling everyone that the crust was old.

I don't know why they sell crusts in two packs...family size? I don't know.


So that there is no more confusion....here is the todo/willdo list for next time (+ future times)

- shred our own cheese
- buy pizza stone
- for making own crust (try sourdough for sure - wheat?)
- ffk clean oven


rest of the sauce will probably get used up in some pasketi later this week (hopefully w/ meatballs).


I'm thinking next pizza will be Mediterranean style....oh and one thing that hurts right now is tomatoes being out of season.

Good canned tomatoes are most likely better than what you are using anyway. I swear its not cheating!
