Just my week...That schmuck for Miami pulls a hamstring on an unlikely play to ruin the cover. Miami deserved to lose outright.

Ohio/Buffalo O41.5 good until 44.5

Buffalo has flipped the script the last few weeks and finally realized their run game is so bad that they have to pass early and often. They lost 38-31 verse Miami(Oh) and 55-25 verse Ball State the last two games!
The Bobcats are a pretty decent team that struggles against good rush defenses (see Rutgers and Mizzou games). Buffalo does not provide a good rush defense. Look for Ohio to get 30+. Buffalo's renewed passing will add positions and scores.

Ohio 42
Buffalo 7

that's a winner

S Carolina O21.5 @ Vandy good to 23.5

Spurrier has had two weeks to prepare. Vandy is coming off a huge win and this is win Vandy traditionall effs everything up. The Gamecocks have gotten better and better on offense. Vandy has only given up over 21.5 twice this year, but this game just screams trap to me.

Winner
the Gamecocks are already at 24 midway through the 3rd

Default Colorado/Oklahoma U39.5

Late Pick!

Colorado/Oklahoma U39.5

the wind is expected to be huge during the first half in Norman. That means Paul Thompson, who has been improving, cannot pass his way to help the team overcome the first game without Peterson. The Sooners now face a great rush defense under pretty bad circumstances.

UCLA +13.5 @ Notre Dame
good to +10.5

Sagarin predictor has UCLA 0.04 points better than Notre Dame Dunkel has ND 3.7 points better. Even with home field, the power rankings clearly point to UCLA as being the value pick.

OK, UCLA hasn't beaten a quality team yet and ND is coming off a bye week which favorst the Irish more. In addition, the Bruins play a back-up qb now who has trouble speaking after being punched in the throat last week. If they find a way to communicate, I don't think there is much of a drop off for the Bruins. The Bruins defense is solid verse both the run and pass, but were torched by Oregon. Notre Dame is no Oregon on offense. Notre Dame is still only 89th rushing. UCLA can stop the ND run with only 7 in the box, which will allow them to matchup better v Quinn and co.

Notre Dame's defense is below average verse both the run and pass. UCLA is just below average in both categories.

Special teams should balance out. Both have some weaknesses and strengths which should keep field position balanced out.

[/ QUOTE ]

Notre Dame 20
UCLA 17

another winner, though personally dissatisfying to watch the current most overrated team representing the University of spoiled, snobbish brats hang around in the BCS conversation.

Great week. Congrats. I bet most of your picks.

The Texas game was just bad luck. If that idiot kicker could have hit a 31-yarder the game is probably over.
