[ QUOTE ]
if i ever smoked the second i did it i would go home and stars transfer you 150. im just telling you right now that it will not happen. i am 100% committed to winning this bet. rj if you really want ill take a drug test after 3 months but you would have to pay for it. [/ QUOTE ] haha.. that's probably the most retarded claim ever. Why would I have to pay for it? You sound like a day 1 vegetarian right now. "This is easy I don't need meat!!" |

you would pay for it because you want verification. i dont need to verify what i was doing for the 3 months. i was there. it was an offer. i have no desire to get a drug test. you just seemed distrusting.

nah.. it's a retarded claim boy. I've got no intention of asking for a drug test, but it's still a dumb claim. Even your initial acceptance was borderline lame-o, "OK I accept 3 months from the date stamped in my post." You don't just accept and state the terms of the bet all in one fell swoop. I just agreed because it's easier and not really a big deal.
Anyway, I'm taking your word for it (which was my intention anyway), because it's $150, and I doubt you'd lie for that amount of money over a 3 month period. If you would, well then I'm a sucker, but your life would suck. Good luck. |

like i said. i only offered because you seemed extra untrusting. ive bet with many people on this board on various things and never considered cheating and have paid everytime it was needed. i said i accept the bet because you offered a 3 month bet for 150. i accepted and was done smoking at that moment. i really am baffled at what the problem is here. no problem! Just in general, usually one doesn't just say "OK I accept here's the deal go!".. Usually it's, "OK, here's my terms.. deal?" You didn't really ask. Maybe I'm just a newb. Anyways I accepted the original deal.
"ive bet with many people on this board on various things and never considered cheating and have paid everytime it was needed. " That's what I wanted to here. I was asking so one of those people can speak up. Can you really blame me for asking for some verification? It's not like I know you. I'm not a major player in the 2p2 world, so I wouldn't have known about these deals ahead of time. I largely trusted you, otherwise I wouldn't have offered in the first place, but was just looking for some reassurance. game on! |

[ QUOTE ]
i saw veganmav's weight loss thread. thought about my "ask pittm about smoking weed" thread and thought that it was time for this. i didnt start smoking until i was a junior in college. but by the time i was a senior i was smoking almost every day and have been since. now i am 8 months out of college with 2 degrees and have no job(as of friday), some experience and no real "direction". last wednesday i got sick(lungs) and couldnt smoke for 3 days, and then i was busy all weekend. i smoked a bowl last night after 4.5 days off and felt pretty [censored] about it. anyone wanna make a prop bet to make the stoner an unstoner? maybe 2 weeks or so? i really think this would be a solid decision in my life right now. rj [/ QUOTE ] FWIW, in college I was a moderate smoker. about an eighth every week or so. I quit cold turkey and it was pretty easy. I just quit hanging out with the guys I would usually smoke with. If you like reading or something like that it makes it easier. I guess it would also depend on why you smoke. I smoked to relax. So I would just do something else I found relaxing. Quitting weed, is much easier than quitting smoking cigarettes. |

1 month down, 2 to go. hoooooly [censored] how life changes in a month. ive been working out 2-3 times a day recovering from surgery. i was looking around for my first career job, expecting to be paid somewhere in the 37-39k range and my old boss for an internship i did the summer before this one called me and offered me 47k for a new job starting tomorrow. i inheirited 10k from my great aunt. i used some of that to put a down payment on my new 2007 honda civic lx that i bought yesterday and i will use more buying some new wheels for it today.
additionally, im in the best relationship ive ever been in, and while i cant completely attribute it to my stopping smoking since we started going out before then, things have grown and gotten so much better in the month since i quit. i picked up one of my best friends and we were driving in my new car last night and i was telling him how it had been a month since i smoked(he has smoked many times a day for many years since his mom died ) and i was talking about how in 2 months i wasnt even sure i would be interested in novelty hits, as i am so pleased with the way things are going now. especially with regard to my lungs. before i would want to vomit after running 2 miles. the other day i ran 6 miles, had lunch, and then played soccer 2 hours later. it may very well be this increase in stamina that has been part of my relationship blossoming so much.(brag ) oh, and ive actually been playing cashaments a little bit and hate poker slightly less than when i smoked. rj |
