I got a kick out of Raymer's comments after he got knocked out. "He's either a genius or a moron for making that call." Then when the reporter tried to pin him down he said that he was probably a genius. Cmon Greg, you really thought he was a moron didn't you?

Paul Magriel...I'd lean more towards genius, but who knows? He's one goofy dude, that's for sure.

They piped in canned crowd noise for the RABBIT CAM. What the hell were they thinking?

You're only just noticing that the PPT has crowd noise where there is no crowd?

Paul Magriel most likely has a genius I.Q. but it's human nature to feel that your opponents play that caused your bust out was moronic.

I think the reporter initially caught Raymer at an emotional moment and got an honest initial reaction but then Raymer had a second to compose himself and decided to be politically correct.

I must preface this by saying that I don't plat NLHE nor do I play tourneys...strictly a limit player.

Can someone please explain what may have been going through Helppi's mind when he folded 10's against Fischman when the board only showed 8 high and a rainbow? Would he have been putting Fischman on a set? Or overcards? To me, it seemed like a tight laydown given the scenario and the player he was against but maybe it was a great laydown.

I think Helpi overthought the situation, plain and simple, and talked himself out of a call.

From what I've seen on Juha is he goes so much on instinct. There may have been times the exact same scenario would have come up and he would have called.

Helpi played pretty poorly throughout this episode, leading to his eventual bustout (where he checked with the best hand and put all of his chips after Scott caught up).

My fav quote:

Mimi: Nice hand Scott....you little bastard!

Of course not, that's why I stressed "rabbit cam". Fake crowd noise in general is one thing. Having your fake crowd applaud the rabbit cam, something a live audience couldn't possibly see, is a whole new level of lunacy.
