I'll vouch for UM. There's a lot of good looking girls - on the central campus, at least (not on the north campus, where the engineering, architecture, and music schools are). State's #2 ranking, on the other hand, is surely due to small sample size.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I went to princeton, I highly doubt this. [/ QUOTE ] As a fellow alum, I can back Wayfare up on this. My guess is that the OP either also applied to Harvard, or read this recent article in the New Yorker about Ivy League admissions. Princeton was a place where students of both genders put a great deal of effort into their appearances; a much higher proportion of students dressed well and had their weight under control than on most campuses. Dear Old Nassau may not have had as many naturally attractive people as many big state schools, but the average person in the Princeton environment ended up looking much better than the average person somewhere else. scrub [/ QUOTE ] As a current student, I can agree with both scrub and Wayfare on this one. Also, the fact that everyone starts calling it "Old Nassau" after graduation really amuses me; I don't think I've ever heard anyone under 70 use that phrase without a substantial amount of irony. [/ QUOTE ] FYP scrub |

Hot chicks are out West and down South. Looks like that advice holds true today. |

[ QUOTE ] Also, including places like ASU, FSU, U of Minn(trust me on this one), etc woulda made things a lot more interesting. [/ QUOTE ] This coming from a guy who does not live here, does not go to school here, has no vested interest here, and is totally objective. Take notes boys. [/ QUOTE ] schneids, you can brag about it all you want, but nobody's gonna believe you until we see pics. |

Sorry guys, but my school (Texas State) is not only one of the biggest party schools in the nation, its got some of the hottest girls too (hmm, correlation?). It completely blows UT away, and blew away all of the East Coast schools I went to. Didn't see too many hotties at any of the schools I traveled to on my ball team either, or at Michigan (Go Blue!).
Texas just has it like that. And no, they aren't southern belles... quite the contrary, I found upon coming back to texas that there are quite a few of the hotties I used to consider "NYC princesses"... although most of them down here are less snotty. edited to say that Im still undecided as to whether or not a "princess'" snottiness is hot. |
