so what about the opportunity to see the game live in casino? any info anyone? [/ QUOTE ] No. Sorry you won't be able to watch the game live. As for the integrity of the game - no rake or transfer fees? Who gives a crap? what the hell does that mean? as for the players playing with their own money - from what i've heard - Fulltilt has flown out their players and have put them up. As for the money - the players are probably getting something from Fulltilt, but from what I've heard most are putting up a substantial amount themselves... phil ivey is there to win money - i don't think he cares who's it is either... anyway, i'm here in London - and I'll keep you guys updated. |

My point is not that there is anything wrong, scandalous or otherwise improper about the set up. I just view it as a very entertaining "infomercial" for Full Tilt. FT sponsoring it, FT moving to Ireland, FT flying its players out, FT being very prominently represented. It's the penultimate product placement for a poker site attempting to be accepted in a new locale. Good marketing, nothing wrong with that. I wish you luck, David and hopefully will see it aired in the US. About them putting up money themselves, that I have my suspicions.

). http://www.fiftylondon.com/ Allen Cunningham's also made the trip to London. Sky Sports in the UK do very well to keep things under wraps for months (look at the various Ladbrokes Poker Million V heats...they'll be airing from next week onwards but they finished three or four months ago. Few people out there know the results and those that do aren't telling too many people as to what happened). |

Maybe the participants have to sign something saying they won't disclose the results? With FriarTuck there commentating, he said he was going to provide details of hands for HSP UK. Somehow I can't imagine that actually happening.

As for the inaugural EPM - Gus Hansen won it last night. Marc Goodwin came in 2nd. Ivey finished a disappointing 7th after coming to the final table 2nd in chips. |
