hey, so I have a question. As I previously said this is the first real season I have followed. Is it pretty normal for players in the offseason to openly say they want to switch teams or move to a team in a different country? This doesn't happen much here in the U.S. Also, if these players aren't moved, how do they usually perform during the coming season. Do most just suck it up and play as a professional or do some just tank it and get moved during the season?

It occurs during every offseason. You'll find a few outspoken players voice their transfer requests near the end of every season. Some increase their value while others decrease their value with their play.
