5 pm on the same day??? Dont know what timezone you refer to, but this would really suck if they would stop broadcasting in the middle of the action (after 6 hours?).

I was the one that mentioned earlier that ESPN only has an 18 hour window of PPV time. That was what the Sirius broadcast team said last night. They said if the FT goes longer than 18 hours you will get cut off. I have not seen anything official from ESPN, but that is what is being reported.

That would make more sense - the TW guy prob said 10 AM, as in the next moring, so 4P - 10A CST

I just listened to phil gordon's espn podcast and he discusses the espn ppv. He and Ali are the main hosts during the show but he plans to have many of the pros (he mentioned Hellmuth and Raymer and many other former champs) join them during the show.

He did not mention any time frame restrictions as someone mentioned earlier in this thread. He said the whole final table, and he mentioned how last year it ended at 8 in the morning which is 18 hours, but this year it could take longer.

I hope this PPV deal open-ended...seems when I ordered the cable guy saying something about a 10 PM end time.

When I was looking on DirecTV they had it scheduled for something like 21 hours.

Holy crap that blows. I can't get sirius where I am and they don't stream it either apparently.

Also is it true that if the final table goes beyond 18 hours that ESPN will cut off their feed?

MAN SOMEONE NEEDS TO GET IT TOGETHER.

This blows. I don't know if I want to shell out $25 for this coverage. Anyone out there who has it, let me know if it's worth it.

I just ordered the PPV from Comcast (formerly Time Warner Cable). It's on channel 453, at least in Tennessee.

I'll admit to being ignorant and never having ordered a ppv telecast in my life. But there's a first time for everything, and I'll probably bite the bullet tomorrow. One problem: how do I go about it? Can I do it through the TV remote, or do I need to call the cable company?
p.s. I have Comcast cable.

I've never ordered one before, either, so I just called the cable company. The lady first said they weren't going to carry it, but I insisted that she check with her supervisor about it. She did, and she was wrong. I don't know if you can order it from the TV or not.
