you guys are being way to hard on OP. I doubt hes lying. Hes just exagerating.

break down door = the cops knocked and OPs roomate answered

accusing roomate and OP of being internet poker fraud artist = The cops asked him why they had so many monitors, roomate said they play poker. Cops then asked a bunch of stupid poker questions, one of them being about if they play together and cheat.

maybe its not even OP, maybe this is the exagerated events that the roomate gave him, and OP wasnt smart enough to see what we all see (that it obviously didnt happen this way) and just was all excited to make a post here about how the cops are cracking down on all us 2 monitor types, and in his rush didnt think things through.

the door definetly kicked in, evidence being that the lock was replaced by the time i got back.

people think i'm lying because i said that the cop was accusing us of being poker cheats and everyone took it as they were doing a serious crackdown on online poker players. it was just some [censored] that the cop decided would be a good idea to accuse my other room mate of, seeing if he would confess to something illegal. cops do that stuff all the time and it's happened to me plenty of times before.

Much more realistic, as the OP WAS NOT THERE, cops dont bust down a door on a warrant for a domestic abuse complaint

Its people like this that help to give cops bad names, over exaggerated stories and things they heard etc etc.

They have enough [censored] to deal with, doing a very difficult job that gets little respect, especially from the youth of today.

My fiance loves it tho and wouldnt trade it for the world.

its weird that you guys are incapable of understanding that when a door gets kicked in two things can happen. the door can break off from the hinges/frame or it can cause the lock on the door to break ( the lock obviously being what broke on our door ).

our door is a huge [censored] giant wooden one. the frame obviously isn't going to break, the lock went out first.
