I just returned home from a week long vacation. I'm glad to see there were no major issues and that a lot of people are enjoying the program. If you have any feature requests, need help or whatever let me know and I'll do the best I can.

Hi, Everything worked fine until today. The scrolling news in the left side of Party lobbly came back. I tried reloading the script a few times -- no change. I shut down Party and DeMonster and restarted -- no change.
I set the Edit choice back to '0', reloaded, then Edit back to '1' and -- some change. The graphics disappeared but the text kept sc(t)rolling along. Ideas? Suggestions? Thanks! JHH |

The Party lobby news is really funky...but that shouldnt suprise anyone; it is party
When you log into Party, you get the Login popup. After you login how many popups come up? I'm guessing there are 2 different ones. One not being the standard popup. What is the title of this window (if there is one)? |

Scratch that...there are currently two popup windows (normal) and that should work fine. Just let me know if there is a popup when you login that isnt titled "Welcome Message" or something along those lines...

The table I was just at busted up so I shut down Party and DeMonster and restarted Party but, hmmmmm ... 2 popups after login? I could swear I was getting three of those popups but because I was not paying attention to them I can't swear to it because these times (meaning I closed and restarted Party several times) only the two 'standard' popups came up (with "Message from PartyPoker.com' as the popup title), not the mysterious 3rd additional oopup that had also been coming up -- must have been promoting something but, sorry, I wasn't reading it and can't remember a thing about it. In any case, it is not showing up. Therefore, with only the two 'standard' popups, DeMonster readily handled them when I engaged it. Ergo, no 3rd popup (for now), no scrolling news problem either and all other animations not showing, as usual for DeMonster. BUT, here's a further twist (Is Party screwing around with things, maybe "knowing" DeMonster is out there? I'm so cyncial, sorry) even with DeMonster engaged and doing its thing, i.e. none of the animations showing for I have Edited all choices to '1', PartyGame.Exe has crept back up to its pre-DeMonster levels, i.e. 20-50% CPU usage range. I tried closing and restarting Party several times as well dong my usual 12 observed tables and letting Party sit for a many minutes, to get in synch and, sure enuff, PartyGaming.exe was back at its pre-DeMonster CPU usage levels of 25-60%, most often seemingly in the 40-50% range. This after 10 minutes of watching Task Mgr. But, again, none of the animations are being displayed. Hope the above sequence and detail of events makes sense because I now need to turn in for the night but, I will be very happy to test, experiment at your direction during Monday. Also, every morning, after backups, I restart the computer -- maybe that will help? Thanks. JHH |

Okay, the last scenario described, i.e.: large PartyGaming.exe CPU usage even tho DeMonster's effect on Party were visibly noticeable seemed to narrow down to the following:
Before restarting PartyPoker, in addition to closing DeMonster, Party, PAHud and FreePHG, PokerTracker also needed to be closed in order to allow DeMonster's effect on PartyGaming.exe get back to 'normal,' i.e. only 2-5% typical CPU usage by PartyGaming.exe. Go figure. Thank. JHH |

It sounds like something weird was going on with your computer. Those programs should have zero effect on DeMonster's effectiveness.
Although it doesnt apply in this situation, since you were seeing high CPU usage from the start; Party is a CPU hog in 2 ways. 1. Monster sliding jackpots 2. Memory leak DeMonster only fixes #1. The longer you leave Party open I would expect CPU to slowly creep higher due to #2. I'm glad everything is working ok again Best regards, APerfect10 |

Released v1.0.3
Improved reliablity to further decrease PartyGaming.exe CPU usage. I recommend that everyone updates their script! I also added this little guy as an icon so you dont have to stare at that ugly green H in your system tray
