Dude. 13 seasons in the bigs is nothing to be ashamed of.

He had more seasons than me. I pitched through the 1980s but 7-10 with a 3.94 ERA in 1983 was the best I ever did.

No wonder people confuse us all the time.

For locals, there is a story on the show and the party on the front page of the Green Valley News. Ed's picture is on the cover, below the fold. The story is also in the Henderson Home News and the South Valley News. It's not online, unfortunately. The paper is a free weekly available at various restaurants and retail stores around the Henderson area.

MrMoo is in the picture on page 14, as is my sister, Mary.

LoL,

You looked much different than what I expected. Not sure what I expected, but that wasnt it. And in all honesty, you looked younger than I expected. I was surprised they didnt have more commentary from the "The Mom".

I used to look much younger than my years, but I think that has changed considerably since I developed health problems four years ago. I had a migraine the day the "talking heads" bits were filmed, and I think I looked like I was sucking on a lemon. I was fine during the tournament which was the day before.

If it hasn't been said yet, its time someone does. I think its really wonderful how close you are with your son, the amount of love the two of you have for one another is evident in your posts. Elaine is very lucky too.

I watched this today (Tivo) and I got one big question... Why the F is Ed Miller, "Noted Poker Authority" living in some ghetto a$$ apartment complex? Shouldn't he be rolling in the dough, or at least be able to afford a house? It can't be that expensive to live in Henderson...

Ed Miller, "Noted Poker Authority," demonstrates financial responsibility; you should be taking notes.

Whatever, isn't owning more financially responsible than renting?

(I'm assuming he's renting - typically in large complexes like that you rent, not own)

Who cares? Maybe they aren't sure if they want to stay in the area. There are quite a few good reasons to rent, I suspect they've thought it over.
