The scene in Munich where the Israelis kill the female assassin who murdered one of their team. The first two shots from their 'bicycle pump' guns don't kill her. She just stands there surprised and then walks away while they fumble to re-load. I found it horrible to watch.

In Hostel when the guy cuts the Asian girls eyeball off, I've seen some gross stuff but that got to me.

The Scene in Leaving Las Vegas where the douchebag college boys rape the female lead. It really, really disturbed and angered me. I can't watch the movie again, and I thought it was a pretty good film. I'm actually feeling sad and angry just typing this.

[ QUOTE ] The 'Russian Roulette' scene played by Christopher Walkien in 'The Deer Hunter'. It both visually and viscerally encapsulates the true madness and horror of war. Although the movie is superb, I've watched it only once, and I will never be able to watch it again. It's too close and brings me back to places that I never want to go to again........ [/ QUOTE ] Myrtle, I was reading through the thread and a Deer Hunter lecture was building up until you saved everyone from it. The entire film made me feel like that. [/ QUOTE ] Wow, this was a good call. The Deer Hunter was a truly amazing film, probably the best Vietnam-era out of a seriously good group (Apocalypse Now, Platoon, Full Metal Jacket). Just think how many great films would never have been made had Vietnam never happened... |

- Rape scene from 'Boys Don't Cry' ... I went to see it with a girl who had been raped. Not a pretty sight. She was a mess ... scene makes me sad and sick
- Part in Trainspotting when they pan to the dead baby in the crib (gasp) - I can honestly say I have real, real trouble keeping my eyes open during, oh, the last half of the orig. 'Exorcist' |

End of "Goodfellas" when Pesci is beaten with baseball bats. [/ QUOTE ] You mean casino...yes, very. Makes him watch his own brother get beaten to oblivion and buried while breathing and then getting the same done to him is quite brutal |
