misclick? nope.
Pretty impressive that you put him on a flush draw without the A or K. So he only had 17 outs instead of being way ahead.

Didn't Ted Forrest call a river bet with a pair of 2's in a stud game a couple years back at the WSOP?

He won the hand, too.
That was NASTY.
that was an AWESOME call down

Great calls are usually terrible calls that got lucky.

[/ QUOTE ]

JustinA do you believe that to be 100% accurate? When one reaches down inside and they just know that their opposition has nada, and they make the call it does wonders to the whole metagame value. I have owned people because of a sick call I have made. I.M.O layne is the best in the world at this right now. He makes calls short handed and heads up, that knock the other player towards tilting.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sure, that's why I said usually instead of always.

I thought of this after remembering that insane call Mike Gracz made at the WSOP with A high. So what call left you in shock? How about online, in real life and on tv?

[/ QUOTE ]

Wasn't that against Shaniac?

While all these calls are awesome, it really hits home when you see/view an amazing call in person. I was watching Keith Sexton & MrSmokey1 battle it out heads up in the Full Tilt 200k. They are both even in chips. ~ 700k each.

MrSmokey1 raises his button and KeithSexton calls.
Flop: 10d 7d 2s
KeithSexton Checks
MrSmokey bets half the pot ~ 60k.
KeithSexton raises to 175k
MrSmokey1 calls.

Turn 7s
KeithSexton checks, MrSmokey1 checks.

River 10h
KeithSexton bets 300k
MrSmokey1 calls

They both flip over K 3 off for K high. Watching this call I realized this is why I'm not at the final talbes very often.
