[ QUOTE ]
I think the some of the Paris scenes were specifially to show the contrast of Carm vs. Tony / good vs. bad etc. I don't remember the exact order but the scenes would jump from Paris: looking at fine art, visiting a church, eating at a fine French restaraunt to NJ: getting a BJ, killing someone, making a pot of sauce. I don't know maybe I'm imagining things. [/ QUOTE ] No, I thought this way too. I think one of the first scenes like this was Carm looking at a French statue or painting or something, then they cut right to Sil saying "Make sure you clean that [censored] off her [censored]!" as some guy was scrubbing the Bing sign. That was pretty funny. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The Tony-Anthony conversation in the garage was great. [/ QUOTE ] Except you can't put a hole in a windshield with a bike helmet. [/ QUOTE ] But you can with a football helmet, which is what it was. [/ QUOTE ] Whatever, I still don't think you can put a hole through windshield safety glass with one. [/ QUOTE ] I agree. I've taken a baseball bat to a beat up car in a junkyard and that safety glass will not break with a clean hole. It's more likely that he'd just shatter the glass but the safety glass remains intact. [/ QUOTE ] Quit being such [censored] nits. It was a great scene that features a slightly implausible situation. J |

The Paris scenes were Carm's version of the Tony coma-induced dream scenes. A lot of symbolism but at it's heart it was Carm thinking about who she is and what her life is and whether she is happy with that. Also, nobody said anything about the Paris search light that Carm was looking at, but Tony also had the distant search light in his dream.

Did you notice how the paper quoted a relative as saying that vito and his wife had problems because he wanted to lead an openly gay lifestyle. (which he didn't) Tony said something earlier in the episode about how he should have just kept it quiet if thats what he wanted to do. Vito responds "I thought thats what he was trying to do" really confused.

Do you think that's supposed to represent the end of there lives being near? As in they're getting pretty old and the contimplation of the content of their lives are being self examined. |

[ QUOTE ] uh the guys that work construction for them don't have "mob jobs" wtf? who was the fat guy they killed? how many episodes left this season btw? [/ QUOTE ] 1 ep left in this seson fat guy killed was one of Phil Reotardo's captains (he actually helped kill Vito I think) [/ QUOTE ] I don't disagree (from what Sil said to Tony, it's one of Phils' crew) But, the guy gives Sil an envelope of money. Why is a NY captain giving money to a NJ consigliere? |

[/ QUOTE ] At the time they were talking about a bet made on a basketball game or something. I assumed it was payment for a lost bet. Remember when he was looking at the newspaper and he mumbles something like, "[censored] Syracuse"? |

Great episode, football helmet scene is very plausible, I put the crown of my head thrown the windshield going 35, w/ just a light cut on my head. So a football helmet going through, no big deal. the shots w/ carm were just awesome, her speech on how do they nothing but worry, then you die, and all yhat worrying doesnt matter in the end was vv good. What I didnt really understand; didnt tony set vito up, and let Phill kill him? Why was he so pissed? Was it just becasue of the pool cue?

They both get a cut of the profits, the fat guy from NY was paying NJ whatever was owed to them from some business. |
