What I don't understand is why is the safety standing still? When on a football field are you standing still?

yeah i dunno, maybe that's what the conference was about. if a defender is just trying to basically block a receiver, not make a play, could it be PI? i mean it's one thing if a linebacker is trying to step up on a screen and a WR bumps into him, it's another thing for a safety basically to draw a charge 20 yards downfield.

but i have never seen any rule to that effect, if it's not something like that it's a puzzling call.

fake edit: holy [censored] look at that. i think it gets overturned but that's still an unbelievable play. reminds me of that catch harrison made in the end zone against us last year.
