All,
A few people have asked me why I'm so hard on ZJ here. It is simple. He is a visible figure and an example who many young online players look up to for guidance. Not only has he cheated, he then follows that up with a rationalization and "explanation" that makes it very clear he feels like he is the one that got screwed over, not all the players that he cheated. It is bad enough that there are many out there cheating in online poker. To have a guy who promotes himself as an online poker expert and guide not only knowingly break the rules, but then also not own up to his errors is really unforgivable. There's a whole batch of kids looking at what their poker heroes like ZeeJustin do. It needs to be made completely clear when their heroes do things that are completely unacceptable. |

Since zee probably played multiple accounts in the PP million and 500k guarenteed where he both made scores for over 100k, the argument that money is being confiscated that he won legitimatley is pretty moot.
I'm pretty bummed because i remember maybe 18 months ago reading about him in some article. I was 16 at the time and was totally inspired by his story, and thought to myself that if he could do it, so could i. Also, Zee, claiming you did NOTHING wrong is lame. |

Move to a new apartment, get a new computer, use yet another friends name and open up a new account. Not being computer savvy, this is what I would do (were I ethically challenged). I doubt it would be this hard for Justin. I don't doubt that he'll be playing on party within a week. He loses 100K and the respect of his peers. That is a HUGE blow. But not even close to the end of his online poker days.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] ZeeJustin CHEATER [/ QUOTE ] I just saw zj's new handle...This is kinda cruel. [/ QUOTE ] For the record, I don't know who changed his title. I agree that it's wrong. [/ QUOTE ] Why is it wrong Lloyd? Why should other posters who think rightly that the majority posting here are honest and ethical players regardless of their differing abilities, think he belongs in that group? And doesn't the fact someone is a cheat make his advice less likely to be correct simply because he is more likely to rely on cheating than thinking about how to play well to win? Don't be a puss. Add that same title to JJProd yourself. |
