How about throwing it irrational claims like the Yankees will miss the postseason?

The Yankees are rocking right now, and it will only get better tomorrow, as they prepare to sweep the A's.

We have RJ on the mound against an Oakland A's lineup filled with lefties.

I've said it before, but I think that the Yankees will sweep Seattle as well to extend the streak to 11.

Toronto already lost today and Boston probably will as well, so the Yankees will gain another game on both teams.

BJ Ryan > Mariano Rivera, and it's not even close.

The Yankees won't make the playoffs. Teams sweep and get sweeped all the time, just because the Yankees are sweeping weak teams, doesn't make them legit playoff contenders.
