fact is, gary aint folding. so, his river play is BADBADBADBADBAD.

Looking at the odds on the river I guess Gary can't fold. But add 1-2K$ to their stacks and I think it becomes really sexy.

gary was torn on call/fold. i was playin with him at the table. i didnt see action but it kind of sucks to get cr all in for 2k more on the river there when 109 beats u.

isnt this the basic - only getting called by a better hand etc. i doubt if he knew hero had a straight with the 6 he still pushes. so in that respect, def mistake.

this is neither a value check raise nor wise to bluff.

If he didnt put Hero on a 6, the move has no purpose. Then he could just call. Unless ofcourse he was doing a two-way checkraise [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

sounds like flopping a set on a flush draw board, then the river comes the flush card, then thinking, 'wait, i think he has K high flush, if i check raise i can rep the ace high flush!'. it would have a purpose, but it would be a dumb purpose.

i know what your saying but still its dumb play.
