FlyingStart:
ask yourself not *should* gary call (even though he should and you are wrong) ask yourself *will* he. youd be foolish to think gary would fold that. and ive seen gary make some sick folds. fact is, gary aint folding. so, his river play is BADBADBADBADBAD. |

Looking at the odds on the river I guess Gary can't fold. But add 1-2K$ to their stacks and I think it becomes really sexy.

isnt this the basic - only getting called by a better hand etc. i doubt if he knew hero had a straight with the 6 he still pushes. so in that respect, def mistake.
this is neither a value check raise nor wise to bluff. |

[/ QUOTE ] If he didnt put Hero on a 6, the move has no purpose. Then he could just call. Unless ofcourse he was doing a two-way checkraise |

[/ QUOTE ] sounds like flopping a set on a flush draw board, then the river comes the flush card, then thinking, 'wait, i think he has K high flush, if i check raise i can rep the ace high flush!'. it would have a purpose, but it would be a dumb purpose. i know what your saying but still its dumb play. |
