when will joe torre sit bobby abreu - i'm getting tired of watching his disappointed face on the way back to the dugout after making an awful out once again. put [censored] kevin thompson in right, get back jesse barfield, i don't care - anyone but abreu.
also will michael kay stop editorializing - god it's annoying, he doesn't know anything and he didn't play the game - he has no excuse. i can't stand that non-player yankee broadcasters always have to make these snippy comments at other teams.

first - does anyone really believe abreu will stay in this slump? he's gotta play out of it. drop him in the order maybe... or a day off... but dont sit him for good
also - michael kay is a moron. his "jews into ovens - black slavery" rant on the radio last year was the nail in the coffin on that one

abreu is just way too good to be given up on (unless hes hurt in someway) after only 150 or so PA's. i mean perhaps sit him for a say or so, but anything more than that is just overreaction.

Great game tonight. Good offense, good starting pitching and good relief pitching.
I fear for DeSalvo, though, as he only had 2 Ks through 7.2 IP. That's a lot of balls put in play! Many of them, however, were pop ups and lazy fly balls.
