As far as the SnG's go, I'm a "decent player", by no means am I "bad" but I do understand the main importance of position, and selective aggressiveness in certain spots in these things. But usually when it comes down to it, since they are turbos... once it's down to 6 players, generally blinds are already so high its a free for all crap shoot :P

Honestly, I don't wanna be a spoilsport, but listen to Netstormer, the above describtion of sng play sounds ... a wee bit off

[/ QUOTE ]

lol, I realize my SNG vocabulary is at a bare minimum but I honestly don't think I'm all that bad at them when it comes down to it..

lol online tournies are donkaments though, how can they not say that? I give all the props in the world to tourney players that last over 1-2 days for sure, though.

Well if you feel confident, then have fun, no offence meant

Just that position and especially selective aggressiveness are not really important (well position is, but first when you reach the push/fold stage, and the importance comes into play on the range of hands you can push, yadiyada ... long rant nipped in the bud)

You know what I thought of the other night while doing flips at 5/10 NL play chip tables the other night with my forum members?

I thought, how awesome would it be, if Pokerstars allowed players to actually "gamble" with their fpps in cash like games where you can play like 300/600 FPP style lol

lol wow, nice pot man, I've only had 2 pots bigger than that during the days when stars allowed rebuys/add ons in cash games... where are the good 'ol days anymore. I'll have to paste a pic of 2 nasty $10 NL pots, the one in which a guy stacks off with just TPTK of AK against my turned top set for 550BB's and another sick one I had against a guy I was trying to stack,

I had A5 vs a donk's Q5, flop was 55x, turn Q and we started raising each other, I can't remember who just called the lst raise on the turn, but the river brought a beloved A for a higher boat in which I stacked him for my biggest BB pot in online poker.
