All I know is I bought Nani two seasons ago on FIFA 07 and he has come through.

the following players are RIDICULOUS if you get them early in fifa 2007:

-anderson
-kerlon
-diego
-rafael sobis
-daniel alves
-jesus navas
-johan vonlanthan

FCRJ has managed to win the quintuple 3 times. my first buy was messi and he went from like an 87 to a 98 by the end of the first season

I don't play the console games . . .

. . . but I play Football Manager 2007. I made a thread about it awhile back but no one showed interested.

PM me if interested in the league . . .

. . . playing in a Turkey league (League A - division 2) right now but it's on holiday. I was thinking of starting another clan.

FM is ridiculously awesome and addictive. how exactly to clans work in it though?

We meet up two nights a week and play against each other. It's not like an OOTP or DMB league where you would send in your line-ups and the commissioner would simulate gameplay - although you can holiday if you want.

In a Football Manager league, everyone connects to the host. Other than that, it's like playing against alone. I've tried to get everyone to use Ventrilo but no one seems to be into it. I figured it would be useful during the transfer window or to bring some more excitement to matches (but if you play Football Manager, your blood is already boiling). Haha . . .

Arjen Robben was a 99 after two years in FIFA 07

Good league for Adu, but I would have liked him to go to Celtic. Is he going to be transfered before the season starts?

[/ QUOTE ]
Would have liked to see him in Italy, but good for him still.

eh, I don't think I could see him in Italy. Spain or France would be perfect for him, but Portugal works just fine. As long as he is able to get a game with Benfica, he'll be able to play in europe for a big club and play in a league where his team will generally finish in the top 3 which is also important

Adu to Benfica almost finished

Corriere Dello Sport also reporting Szetela to SS Lazio.

I hope this deal goes through for Adu -- by all accounts, the Portuguese League is a much better fit for his finesse style of play and small build than the more physical English, Spanish, Italian, or even Scottish Leagues. I hope he develops into a football talent that will lead the US National Team for years to come.

So this tevez thing is annoying the [censored] out of me. When he transferred to west ham, everyone made a huge deal about how he was the property of west ham and not Kia Joorabchian. Then, right when the transfer window opens Kia Joorabchian decides that he owns tevez again.

how on earth is this being tolerated by fifa/the fa/anyone? It seems like just banning Joorabchian from the sport for life would be a good idea.

I doubt Kia goes away easily. I think whats likely to happen is he gets transfered out of the Premiership, if he gets transfered at all.

rafa is amusing. I'd be more then willing to bet that if it wasn't livercrap then Fergie wouldn't be anywhere near as fierce in keeping Heinze. How can he be the manager of our fiercest rivals and then try to claim that he doesn't understand why ManU is acting the way they are acting, especially when both clubs haven't done business since the early 60s. Just look at the reception that Ince got when he played for livershite when he came back from inter
