Alright, I haven't read the entire thread word for word, so this may have already been said. Isn't there an extremely easy way to figure out who stole Grim's money (if any money was even stolen)? I'm assuming that the commerce hotel has cameras in all the hallways. I also assume that Grim knows an approximate time when it was taken. Couldn't he just get the security tape to verify who walked out with his laptop case?

Well done Grim and Rick (you scumbags), but Rick's reply has given this away as the ruse that it is. If someone accused you of stealing 130k, would you post a limp reply to a message board claiming your innocence, replete with nonsense like "someone else was using my 2+2 account for the last few days". Is that because administrators can see when someone last visited the site? And you know it would look fishy that you had been on the site for days, presumably keeping up with this thread?

If you'd really been accused of such a thing, wouldn't you try to contact the accuser? That one ommission from your post gives it away as just total nonsense.

OK guys i decided to step back and look at this whole issue from the point of view of dick tracy in a crime novel and sure as rain i figured it all out. walk with me BBV.

So Brandi finds out grimstarr is in town and staying with rick, she decides to go meet him and notices him 35k deep in a cash game and money signs flash before her eyes. she quickly scuttles out of sight hoping noone saw her approach and hatches a delightfully devillish plan to secure a few tourney buy ins.

She hops on to 2+2 and deduces that grimstarr is staying with rick, she tracks him down using her hooker connects in the city and they tell her where rick and grimm are staying. She then worms her way into riveros heart and convinces him to steal grimms money so they could live happily ever after and buy into as many satellites as they want.

rivero smitten by the temptress breaks it off with grimstarr and they have a big fight, grimstarr goes into the bathroom crying his eyes out at 5am and rivero makes off with the cash in the case. The incensed rivero calls and cancels the reservations just to shun grimstarr and then tosses the cellie. Brandi Hawbaker then over the course of the next few days manages to steal the money herself from rivero and runs off with Bryan Micon. The now broke and sad rivero who no longer has any money or reputation left crawls back to 2+2 and tries to reclaim his name and dignity.
