Hi all

Very disappointed with the result, although not suprised. I figured with TWP insisting the exact terms of the bet were met (and I would've done the same) the chances were something like 10% a win for me and 90% draw. I honestly didn't think TWP had a chance to win outright considering the data we had.

I'm not sure what ElD means when he brings up Chris' early signup to 2+2, a mod can verify it's not me but I don't think that's what he was getting at and it doesn't matter anyway since the verdict has been delivered and I agreed to accept it.

To the panel I offer my thanks for taking the time, especially ElD who was instrumental in setting the panel up.

To TWP I say well argued, and thanks for staying civil throughout the thread when it would've been easy to stir up a lot of criticism on me, some guy with 2 stars calling out G2CU, one of the most successful players on the board (even if I still think he's full of crap, there's no doubt he's had success at poker so far.)

I accepted the bet because I thought G2CU's session was more likely to be <breakeven than the +10K he claimed. I stand by my analysis and think the most generous (and likely) result of the session was +7Kish. I would've accepted the 1K from TWP if the panel had ruled in my favor, but the result of +7K wasn't really the result I anticipated or made the bet on.

TWP : We both agreed to accept the panel's verdict, and I think we should agree to bury the bet at this point. Personally I have no desire to keep searching for dataminers and we have enough evidence on either side to be able to dispute the validity of any fresh data.

why not just play a NL1000 freezeout? Or... Bet on the Pats v. Chargers game.. Something like 1k with TWP getting 2-1. In the spirit of BBV you can't just let this bet die. Find something else to bet 1k on.

I didn't think it was you. I just thought it was a little weird.

As I explained, it didn't really make a difference.

The key thing was the fact that you guys both agreed on such a strict interpretation of the bet conditions.
