Another Mansion free bet

If it were a just a regular bet and I put my money down a week ahead of time on Pit at -4.5, and then the line fell to Pitt -3 (or whatever), would you feel justified in whining about how unfair it was that the sportsbook changed their line?

-3 is a crap line. i was hoping for -2.5 or lower to get in. -3 almost the same as -4.5

Mansion has been more than generous with this promotion since they started it. People had days to get in on the -5 and -4.5 lines.

If the line across the books is now PIT-2.5 then thats what Mansion should put up tomorrow.

im not sure i get this... doesnt the line moving to -2.5 give the promo betters a better chance of winning since pit only has to win by 2.5 points now and not the 4.5-5 we all signed up for?

The line changes only for the people who havent made the bet yet. I placed my bet when it was -5 and it will stay at 5.

I can't possibly see how an $1100 bet FOR FREE is somehow unfair.

They could make an offer of a free bet of $1100 for free but it has to be PIT -12 and I would think that would be incredibly generous.
(maybe a 15-20% chance of winning $1000...no risk of losing).


Brendan - I have no idea why anyone would think that Mansion would cancel the promo offer for those who have already placed the bets, but thanks for checking I suppose.

Mansion support is probably dreading this stupid promo because they are getting non-stop Q's of:
- does the bet still count?
- I know you guys are lying because it can't be real!
- Did I place my bet right?
- What if the line changes?
- What if neither team scores and it ends 0-0?
- What if it rains in Pittsburgh on Wednesday morning?

It's not just a matter of doing it under different names. You still need to set up NETeller accounts (or whatever you're using) for actual identities with corresponding bank accounts. It's not like making a troll account at 2+2.
