I don't think terrorists are "crazy." I think they are misguided zeolots, and I hate what they do, but I don't think they are "crazy."
I think when people classify terrorists as crazy people, it stops the enquiry into why some people could feel so strongly about (or against) something, that they would commit a suicidal act because of it. Calling "terrorists" crazy is a western cop-out, IMO. |

I think people who believe in god or an afterlife are dishonest with themselves, because I don't think it's possible to actually believe in god/religion anymore in a first-world country if you've had any sort of education whatsoever. I think these people lie to themselves (edit: consciously or unconsciously) to avoid reconciling their religious/theological beliefs with the knowledge we have of the world we live in. That's fine, btw--there may be a worthwhile self-deception. But I think it is a self-deception.

I think John Bonham was a 'better' rock musician than Jimi Hendrix.

I absolutely hate cocktail sandwiches. Not the taste, just the look of them.
Beer and pizza don't go well together. Before you say anything, I like beer, and I like pizza. They just don't mix. |

Drinking and driving is far less detrimental to society than being an tired, incompetent, or inattentive driver and shouldn't be punished as harshly
Average looking girls at a club/bar/party who are being ignored generally are the most interesting and are most worth pursuing A vast majority of the world's population should be sterilized Turkey burgers/hot dogs taste better than their original counterparts People who don't wash their hands at least 10 times a day are completely insane Rap music post-1995 is terrible In life, a person should have very few friends and many distant acquaintances Virtually all drugs should be legalized and regulated A person's success in the world is based slightly more on luck than on pure skill |
