Pokertracker's main page was hacked and a redirect URL was inserted into the page source redirecting you to a replica pokertracker page... where the trojan was installed without you knowing.

google it, you'll find it right from the pokertracker forums

Is it possible that this has nothing to do with absolutepoker.com and everything to do with the recent PokerTracker Virus? I know hundreds of people who were infected, myself included, with the trojan virus. A trojan would allow hole cards to be exposed to whomever is on the client side.

...not sure if this was already brought up... kinda hard to read 55 pages

[/ QUOTE ]

Um, where can I read more about this -- i need to know whether i should be concerned about this trojan. I have full firewall/antivirus on all my computers, and full scans have come up clean. But is there a specific utility i can run that will let me know about this SPECIFIC virus?

and i'm not sure how long this absolute poker issue has been going on, nor am i sure about the first date pokertracker was compromised (i doubt they are either) but it should be worth looking into whether or not these two issues are related.

seems logical...?

Regardless, the suspect behavior(at least from the LHE players) started long before the PT hack notice

note: the rule about not hijacking this thread with off topic dumb conspiracy theories still applies and will continue to result in quick bans. don't tempt fate.

Someone should send the NL hand with THE GRINDER as well. That's as bad as it gets.

[/ QUOTE ]

My impression is that The Grinder is Michael Mizrachi (sp?), one of their signature pros. His involvement in this would be nearly as big as Seif's (alleged involvement, which i am skeptical of). I forget the NL HH in question though...wasn't it just DD trying some ridiculous huge overbet bluff, and Grinder shoved for his last 150 more, and DD folded...?

Those limit chip dump hands are disgusting. Makes sense if you are trying to offload some of your "winnings" in the event of getting caught.

TheGrinder on AP is not Mizrachi, he used to be a paid pro on the site and played under his name, and the player TheGrinder has long played on the site while Mike was a paid pro.
