[ QUOTE ]
However, what Party emailed me is wrong on several subjects. First of all, the accounts were NOT created solely for MTT use. They were originally created for SNG play. It got to the point where everyone knew that ZeeJustin would steal the blinds often, and everyone called him liberally. I created these accounts to erase this loose image. Everyone would be readless against me, and it was a huge advantage. These accounts all did very well in the big SNGs on PartyPoker. [/ QUOTE ] Justin, the rest of us must wait 6 mos before we can change our names. How is it not cheating to subvert the system in order to mask your play, where as players who follow the rules must wait 6 months? It is also deceptive to be in 2 SNGs vs 2 different screennames and not know they are the same player. I wish I could make a new account every time my name was recognized... |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] How can average players like you and me hope to win if there are 6 ZJs and 2 JJs out there? [/ QUOTE ] 1) You're not an average player. 2) There are many players out there who suck. [/ QUOTE ]ughh i think he was joking [/ QUOTE ] I am a lot more average than you think. If this were MLB, I'd be an Alex Cora or maybe even a Cesar Izturis in terms of Limit hold em, but I'm still in the minors in MTT terms. Though Noah is correct that the number of sucky players makes up for my lack of skill. But when half of the top 5% of the field enter a single tourney an average of 2.5 times, my chances for success go way way down. That is why this is cheating. Even though I believe that ZJ did not cheat when at the same table as himself, it is cheating because he robbed players like me of EV. |

Sounds like he went to Curtains after the fact and realizes that he 'should have' sat out one person. T [/ QUOTE ] after the fact but before he got caught you mean? or after he got caught? if its the former, my statement would still stand |

[ QUOTE ]
One thing I am concerned about. I live with my parents currently, and my mother plays poker. Now, she plays much lower stakes than I do, but it would not be out of the realm of possibility for her to someday play in a big tournament with me. If this DID happen, what would Party/Stars do? Would we able to convince them that there are indeed two individual people playing on two separate computers? Or would it just be wise to never play together? [/ QUOTE ] This has happened before. I remember reading about a 2+2 husband and wife that both made the final table of the same tournament. They played on separate computers and there was never a problem with this, |

I just saw a bunch of posts involving my name. I don't really want to get involved in this thread, but I have never used 2 accounts in one MTT and have made my stance on this practice pretty clear for a long time. I don't want to go into detail on my conversation with ZJ on this matter, but don't get any funny ideas. |

While I think party did what they had to do in here, "events" like this are why people don't believe in keeping more money than necessary in their poker accounts. There is no upside to doing so.

[ QUOTE ]
I really hate the 'Party can take your money any time they want' argument, it's utter BS. The second that Party seizes someone's funds without justification I assure you that I will withdraw every cent from there and never return. I am certain many players feel the same way. Accordingly, they are held in check, if only by greed. [/ QUOTE ] Wait, hold on, why would you wait until they take money for a reason you don't agree with? Why not stop dealing with the company right now if you don't think it's right? Actually, why did you ever agree to a clause you don't agree with in the first place? |
