Thank you so far guys, I'm finally running positive over my last 30k hands.
----------------------

I play at the iPoker network and there are not that many tables available at the same time. That means that I have to play in the same tables as the other (few) regs. Now I have this great piece of software called Holdem Manager (its by rvg, im sure you know it) and it shows like all the stats there could be.

Where should I start to find exploitable leaks in my (TAG) regulars' game? What are the common mistakes for micro-limit regulars? They are mostly 8-tablers.

Ok. merits of playing at FTP vs Stars.
rakeback vs fpps
less players vs more players
datamining vs

It seems like FTP is much more favorable to rings games, yes a lot of 2p2ers are on stars. Are the games much different?

FPPs on stars(35% RB or something depending on how you use them) is better than rakeback than FTP (27%)

you want more players because more players= more fish and better table selection

datamining is nice but its more helpful for 12-tabling, nut-peddling nit/TAGs than ppl actually playing poker and practiving game selection, FTP games are much nittier than stars at least at 1/2 and 2/4.

also software,support,etc.

Hey futuredoc while you're around would you mind replying to my question? I remember you saying that you "scout" a villain every day. Something to get me started you know...

its every week but sure. just filter the hands from some reg for the ones that went to showdown. Then look at all of them and try to find patterns. Like if he always takes a certain line w/ a certain type of hand, what hands he's showing down in 3-bet pots, how lightly he's getting 100BBs in pre and postflop, etc.

Thanks, will do. Another hand, HH lost.

Button: Villain, $50. Stats 20/18
BB: Hero, $50

Cards dealt: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
3 folds, <font color="red">Button raises to $2</font>, SB folds, <font color="red">Hero bets to $7</font>, Button calls.

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero's plan? Please take all scenarios into account, please.

Yea I much prefer stars support and software. Hopefully if I get up to 200nl i might switch, but right now, getting back into cash I like the datamining aspect a lot so I think I'll stay with FTP. There are a lot of good 100 tables and I haven't found any of the tags to be difficult to play against.

generally you check here. Its a way ahead or way behind situation. You check and play poker. Against most players call a bet, but probably not two. THink about how you'd want money to go in in this spot, and the most profitable way is generally letting villain do the betting. If its checked, check turn and then valuebet river if its checked again.
