However I'm willing to play Qe7 so I don't see it as really stopping castling. We would have could choose between 16... Qe7 (sacking the a-pawn!?), 16... a5, 16.... a6 Yes they are risky.....

But lets look at 15...Rc8 16.Qa3 After 16...Qe7 17.Qxa7 O-O 18.Bg5 (I think it's very important to get rid of this knight if the light squares around white's king are about to get weakened even more and the queens stay on) Qe4+ 19.f3 (the simple 19.Kg1 looks good too) Qxe2+ 20.Rf2 with Bxf6 next and b7 is hanging while d5 is as weak as ever (Rad1 and Rfd2 coming). White's king is slightly drafty in this line though, so maybe he has even better moves earlier. But 16...a6 17.Rd1 Qe7 might be playable.
