I play 5/10 and they are taking over $50 an hour from me and redistributing it to whoever is the biggest luckbox. Just because I make several times this doesn't make this negligible and it doesn't make it right.

[/ QUOTE ]

um, so this is somehow... wrong?

As someone who only returned to online play 2 weeks ago, and 1/2nl ring at that, I'm as disgusted over this as the next person, but this Party is free to do what they want to do.

If anything, this is just another reminder that the whole house of cards could come tumbling down at any moment, and I need to make every effort to get my share whie the getting's good.

of course, I'm not suggesting that no one try to influance party to change their mind.

What the hell? there are no more non-monster 1/2nl-3/6 nl tables.

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought the same thing but they just moved norm non-monster table to a different "cash game" section in the lobby, and will default to monster table lists every time you open party, just to make it even harder for the fish to find the normal tables.

So, Party now has 2 types of tables, Monster and Rocky. Choose whichever you prefer, or go to some other site. I cannot see why everyone is complaining so much. When I went to the store this morning, I was surprised to see that milk was an extra $.05/gallon. I complained to the manager, and said that his price increase was cutting into my profit margins. He did not seem to care, nor should he have.

Geeez people, grow up, get a life, and if you think the price of poker is too high, play somewhere else, or play something else, or just don't play at all.

[/ QUOTE ]

But you did complain. Ya I know your story was made up but do you not get it? People have many options with complaining being one of them. They are not limited to one option however. They can complain AND move on AND play somewhere else. When it gets right down to it Party made a business decision that affected many loyal customers. Any loyal customer will complain when he is getting screwed. And he will also find somewhere else to spend his money. Many businesses actually send out surveys to known partons because they DO care what they think.

This is exactly why I hate their ploy. A lot of the 2+2ers can't figure out how to get to the non-monster tables, how in the world are gutshot-chasing fish supposed figure out this stuff

The reason why nobody cared about the BBJ tables was because they were put in a separate tab below the cash tables, so the fish had to actively search to find them. These monster ones are put above the cash tables.

If they make Monster games tab below the cash tables, things will be fine again. Better still, put them in a separate tab below, and get them the hell out of the Cash tab so players can have to choose to play monster tables, not stumble upon them. Of course, nobody in the right mind would play that garbage, and Party knows this.

Yeah it is [censored] ridiculous that when you open party poker at the top it lists the Monster tables. Now when fish open up party to play poker they probably won't even realize what's going on and will just open up a monster table whether they want to play those or not. God damnit I hate party.

What I really don't get is why they have a separate Monster section....AND have the Monster tables under the normal cash games tab as well

Hmmm. After not getting any response to yesterdays complaint to PP, I decided to send them another email today. Just came back as undeliverable, "Unable to open mailbox". I sent it to the VIP club.

Umm... it appears that Party Monster tables are eating up huge amount of system resources on my computer... to the point that I can't run other programs if I have several Party windows open. Anyone else notice this?

It's temporary to increase awareness and promote this thing. Everything will be back to normal in a few days just with BBJ tables at every limit.

Hopefully so is forgetting your lobby preferences each time you close down party.

Please wait for the email that explains the full break down of this promotion. We are not taking any more rake at all. Read our email not the forums.

[/ QUOTE ]

It seems like they are getting into a wordsmithing match. I guess technically they aren't taking any more rake. They are simply also taking 50 cents that isn't rake, it is tournament seed money.

[/ QUOTE ]

the real beef is that 99.99% of us would rather have the cash in our accounts than seeding the jackpots
