[ QUOTE ]

As Oski knows we propped together dating back to the days of Big Bet Poker. Him and I used to prop there when 3/6 was a big game for AP. I won just slightly over 2bb/100 in these SH FL games with over 500,000 hands and propped there for years. I don't see how they needed to cheat props. The pay was roughly 100% rakeback. Their only costs were payment processing and prop managers. For the most part the prop program is neutral EV at almost all poker rooms.

[/ QUOTE ]

At the time that Oski is talking about(2005) they changed the propping agreement in such a way that we were getting >100% RB. For several months they were offering 100-110% for holdem(can't remember the exact number) and 150% for non-holdem games. They were certainly losing money on these promos as I know that I as well as numerous other props were playing every available table of O/8, Stud, and Stud/8.

One would think the CEO of a multi billion dollar conglomerate wouldn't buy his dog a 20k umbrella or his wife a 3M birthday party directly with company funds, but I am pretty sure the Tyco CEO Kozlowski did both of those things.

Is it possible that this has nothing to do with absolutepoker.com and everything to do with the recent PokerTracker Virus? I know hundreds of people who were infected, myself included, with the trojan virus. A trojan would allow hole cards to be exposed to whomever is on the client side.

...not sure if this was already brought up... kinda hard to read 55 pages

wtf are you talking about?

there was no pokertracker hack, the website was hacked, but none of the files were touched and absolutely nothing resulted from it

this is why these kind of threads are bad. Poker tracker goes from being hacked to people "knowing" hundreds of other people who were infected with the pokertracker virus

god only knows what this AP super user thing is going to morph into

and i'm not sure how long this absolute poker issue has been going on, nor am i sure about the first date pokertracker was compromised (i doubt they are either) but it should be worth looking into whether or not these two issues are related.

seems logical...?
