EMc, I hope you're just going to bed now (7 am in Vegas now?) otherwise save the trip report if you're just waking up cuz we don't want to hear how a nit goes to Vegas only to wake up at 7 to hear the birds and go for a jog... lol

Have you taken any pictures yet inside the Bellagio card room or have you gone to the Rio where they're doing the WSOP and taken any pics with high stakes pros? I was in Vegas twice last year and one of the times was during the WSOP main event and I got a ton of pics of some of the biggest names in poker, Hellmuth, Hachem, Ivey, Gus, Farha, Greenstein, etc, etc.

I'm fairly sure this doesn't deserve a new thread:

Can anyone tell me what to make of overbets in unraised pots?

example:

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $81.57
CO: $54.09
Button: $19.31
SB: $71.74
Hero: $53.45

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is BB with two cards
UTG folds, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls, Hero checks.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($1.5, 3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">CO bets $2.5</font>, SB folds, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: $2.5 returned to CO.

Results:
Final pot: $1.5

CO is after ~30 hands 47/0/2.6. Is this really opponent dependant, or does it usually mean the same from any (bad) player at these stakes?

[/ QUOTE ]

i've found usually its a weak made hand or a draw, he usually just wants to pick up the pot there. a lot of the time though they dont fold to raises.

Kinda common problem but I think a call has to be ok here, right? Villain very aggro post, like 9 AF 100+ hands.

..................................

saw flop | <font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

Button Button ($46.35)
SB <font color="#C00000">SB ($63.75)</font>
BB BB ($71.15)
UTG ($50)
UTG+1 <font color="#C00000">Hero ($48.25)</font>
CO CO ($55.20)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
1 fold, Hero raises to 2, CO calls 2, Button calls 2, SB calls 1.75, BB calls 1.50.

Flop (10.00) 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets 7.75, 2 folds, SB raises to 61.75, 1 fold, Hero moves all-in for 38.50.
