Neteller hired some lawyers and advisors. Perhaps someone smarter than me can provide some analysis of what this might mean.
Link I thought the following bit was interesting. Should we be contacting that group about nonpayment? Would they have the authority to put some pressure on neteller? A secondary team, led by CC enforcement head Carlos Conceicao, is also advising the company on its obligations to the Financial Services Authority, which is responsible for policing Neteller as a regulated e-money issuer. |

John Carroll, partner with Clifford Chance, is leading the defense for Lawrence and Lefebvre. He is a former Assistant US Attorney in the Southern District of New York. I interpret this as a good thing, because it seems we (err, I mean "they") have an insider working on their behalf.
