[ QUOTE ] Funny thing if Chip wins, he'll get lots of attention, then go back to crushing cash games. [/ QUOTE ] As I recall, Chip is the guy who said that he only started playing tournaments over the last few years because his kids were asking him why they never saw him on TV. [/ QUOTE ] I'm almost positive this was said by Chau Giang. |

[ QUOTE ]
Hard to believe he had a bet with Paul Phillips on day 1 about which of them would be the first one out. [/ QUOTE ] No. Paul said in his blog that if either of them was the FIRST ONE KNOCKED OUT, then they would pay the other $1K. In other words, if Paul got KO'd before anyone else in the tourney, he had to pay Doyle $1K, and vice versa. Anyway, I had no idea Bechtel was this well-rounded. Where does this guy polish his game? He's sort of an enigma. |

They both said it - Chau said it at the WSOP Omaha event that he won, and Chip said it at the WPT final table he made.

[ QUOTE ]
200-1 on Antonius is a terrible, terrible bet. [/ QUOTE ] It's laughable. I'd bet against him, but then I realized I'd have to put up $5K to win $25 so it doesn't seem very worth the time. Should be more like 400-500 to 1. |

For everyone who likes what they see at this event, Full Tilt has HORSE SNG's up to $50 that go, $200's that go when a pro sits down and MTT's with satellites.

The $1.7 million first prize would be the biggest of anybody's career at the final table. Of the 9 left, 5 of them have had at least one tourney cash for $1 million or more.

I'm glad Antonius is on the ropes to be honest
The prestige of this tournament should go to a player with a long, proven track record of B&M play, not an internet hotshot |
