I think we're going about this intro message all wrong. Instead of something specific let's come up with a form letter prototype where we can just insert some facts and questions to customize

something like

hey girl,

I was browsing profiles and noticed you're into (insert interest from there profile)

that's cool I (insert someway you relate to item from above (can be a lie)

Hit me back with a message and we can chat some time.

Also I have a question (instert random question like which seinfeld character would she make out with if given the choice)

Let's get to work on this I think it had merit.

also I'm willing to make 2-3 profiles from random large cities so we can test the "inside?" "you're hot" "let's have sex" question if I can get a few people to help out

edit: I think when you reply to a bulletin like that the reply just goes to the originator. To send a message to the whole group I think you actually have to go to the group page and hit "post bulletin"

Ouch! The chick I sent that message to earlier (check the post to which I'm replying) has now read it and didn't respond. I'm 0/1. I'm not really considering seriously pursuing this over break that much though. Although, do you guys think I'd have a reasonable chance of nailing some random chick while I'm visiting my parents in Oregon for a week?

I messaged her cause she seemed like my type of girl - very cute, but not smoking enough to be out of my league.
