Default Re: Free Party Hand Grabber v0.01 available

^^EDIT: Have d/led Empire Poker, copied EmpirePokerMaster.exe into FPHG folder to get PT to import from there, edited FPHG to treat everything as 6max, linked PT to auto-import .hhf files from the FPHG folder. I have iWitness keeping 12 tables open.

I'm pretty sure I did everything correctly, but PT still isn't importing anything, and I can SEE the .hhf in the folder.

???????????

Sorry, I'm not much help when it comes to using FPHG with PT, but you could try doing the same with a dummy PokerNow.exe maybe? (If that doesn't work, then you could try asking in this thread).

Another alternative is to just output the files as .txt using the "-e txt" option, and then run FPHG from inside of Party's "/HandHistory" folder.

could you add an option to start wrting to a new .hhf after a certain number of hands?
for example, after 1000 hands in Table 12345.hhf it begins writing to Table 12345-1.hhf, then after another 1000 it goes to Table 12345-2.hhf, ...

Sorry if I forgot to reply to this the other day!

Yes, this is on my ToDo list and I'll add it to the next version - just not had much time recently to work on any of my projects.

juk,

First, thanks for the work. Second, I've gone through a lot of this thread and can't find any help with this:

I edit the batch file with whatever parameters, but when I click on the run.bat, as opposed to the exe, it doesn't run. It flashes up the little command line screen, but immediately closes.

It could be that your parameters are not correct, try this:

@echo off
freephg.exe <your options here>
pause 0

This will make it pause before stopping.

It might also be that you haven't got the CLI stuff installed for XP, so you could try this instead:

1. Create a shortcut to freephg.exe
2. Edit the properties of the shortcut.
3. In the box which says "Target" add the option you want (just as you would in run.bat).
4. Run FPHG by using this shortcut.

I'm on Win 2k Pro, not XP. The shortcut method works, so editing the .bat is kind of moot, but in case you're curious...

I edited the bat as specified, and now in the command line box it gives me a "Press any key to continue..." prompt. I hit a key, and it closes. I extracted the zip file to partygaming/party poker/ blah blah, and haven't moved anything around since then. So the folder has another folder called v0.06, then the exe, the readme, the bat, etc. The .bat doesn't need to be moved anywhere right?

Like I said, since the shortcut method works, its kind of academic, so no worries.

Yep, you did everything correctly, it's just that on your system the extra stuff needed to run command line programs (command.com etc) isn't installed.

If the shortcut works though, then it does just the same job, so all should be ok now.
