[ QUOTE ]
I can't believe that no one else has called out UCF_Thayer on his ridiculous post, in which he suggests that "snitching" on someone doing what ZeeJustin is doing is worse than what ZeeJustin did itself (I say "it"self because ZeeJustin does not appear to be a real man). So if a bunch of execs at Enron make a bunch of cash by cheating poor grannies in California, they are bad but not as bad as the whistleblowers that report the swindling? That is a very odd opinion to have, and I have to question your morals, UCF_Thayer. This isn't like "snitching" on someone who toilet-papered the principal's yard. This is "snitching" on someone who is cheating other people out of their money. [/ QUOTE ] well, isn't this exactly what curtains P.O.V is? apparently he knew it was going on, and he chose to keep it quiet rather then "snitch" on a friend |

[ QUOTE ]
Say if someone played on a site for 2 years, won $1 million, created a second account, played 1 tournament with two accounts, then proceeded to get their full million confiscated? Black and white thinking usually isn't fair. I don't think it is in this case either. [/ QUOTE ] Nikla, How much money should party have taken? i always respected zeejustin's game. His post is pathetic. He denies all responsiblity and blaims party. he tries to say that since you can open multiple instances of party that you should be allowed to enter multiple accounts in tournies. I thought zee would come on here and admit that he got caught, say sorry and move on. He isn't going to get his money back. People who multi account know they are taking this risk. |

[ QUOTE ] ZJ, Is the rumor true that you faked the affiliate shutdown email so you get to keep all your affilate money now without paying your players any rakeback? [/ QUOTE ] I took it from context that ZJ was not paying rakeback and was keeping all the money for himself already. [/ QUOTE ] Does his affilate money go somewhere other than his party accounts that got closed? |

[ QUOTE ] I have been at the same table as myself. For what it’s worth, my standard protocol has been to increase my number of tables when this happens. [/ QUOTE ] How can you not get this? It is not appropriate for you to self-impose any penalty to "negate" the benefits of your cheating? Why open more tables? Why not turn the volume on the TV up very loud? It makes about as much sense. The way to "negate" your cheaters advantage is NOT TO CHEAT. [/ QUOTE ] Let's not forget that the biggest disadvantage to the other MTTers here is playing against 6 ZeeJustins in the same MTT. I think the collusion is pretty minor compared to that. |

[ QUOTE ]
Nikla: ZeeJustin has admitted being at the same table in a tourney more than once. This is a guy who easily could have chipdumped to himself in the course of his two $100k+ wins. And he had multiple accounts with which to aggressively attack strong opponents who were fighting to keep their one entry alive. There are many, many things ZJ can do to cheat with six accounts on these sites. There is no way to know how much of his gains were ill-gotten, but it could very easily be more than the amount that was confiscated. [/ QUOTE ] More specifically, from Party's perspective, there is not necessarily a way to really know which winnings were gotten through cheating, and which weren't. You can't pick some arbitrary number, etc. I think by far the best solution is to seize all funds - they have T&Cs for a reason, and I feel no sadness for anyone who loses money due to something like this. None. I'd also like to say that anyone who is likely to do something like this, is equally likely to lie in his excuse post, and I don't believe for one second that he's never chip-dumped, utilized that added info, etc. No freakin way. |

El D, I feel very much like you. I hate that there is likeyl collusion going on in the limit games that I play, I hate that I have to beat many grandmas in tourneys, and I hate all the ways I am being cheat without knowing it. However, cheating is seemingly impossible to stop, though it is nice to add a couple drops to the bucket when a cheater is caught. As card players we have to accept that cheating is part of the game (like steroids in baseball) and hope that the authorities do their best to stop it, while making our own despite the EV that cheaters steal from us.

Sounds like he went to Curtains after the fact and realizes that he 'should have' sat out one person.

[ QUOTE ] I guess we'll be seeing a lot more of ZJ at PS? Or will this affect that somehow? I think it actually would be cool if all the top sites had some kind of agreement to cross-ban cheaters, like the casinos do in Vegas. That would turn what is becoming a large disincentive, into a GIGANTIC one. [/ QUOTE ] I've wondered the same thing; if they share banned account names or Ips, etc. I can't imagine making 50k a month then having to go back a real job. [/ QUOTE ] This isn't a problem. New computer + new IP isn't exactly tough... |

well, isn't this exactly what curtains P.O.V is? [/ QUOTE ] It could be that ZJ never discussed this with Curtains until he was looking for advice today...? That is sort of what it sounded like to me from ZJ's post. |

Mr. O'Malley,
Sir, I just wanted to thank you for taking such prompt, aggressive action with the users playing multiple accounts on Party Poker. It makes myself and other players feel like Party is actively seeking a fair, player friendly site on which to game. Just wanted to send a personal thank you from myself and others in the gaming community. Cordially, Aaron // l337wingman |
