No, it's still bad. It's/was so slow because they got short-handed fairly quick and remained even most of the time.

The structure is obviously too fast in the middle-late stages. When chip leaders with 52 left are exiting in 30 mins. at 46th in a LIMIT tournament, something is wrong.
